The class format is a casual interactive format with in depth discussion on various aspects of the building codes. Lectures are structured to include visual aids and interactive workbook sessions. This will enable a better interpretation and understanding of the international building codes as applied in everyday code compliance. The flexible format of each class, allows the instructor to adjust emphasis in different areas depending upon individual class needs.

Introduction into the 2006 International (Residential) Energy Code

The General Assembly set into motion the adoption of the 2006 International Energy Code on July 1, 2009. Like many people in this state no one has read the Energy Code or knows how to enforce it. Join us for this 3 hour class to get to know some of the in's and out's of the energy code.

The SC General Assembly Adopted HB 3550 on June 1, 2006 and will go into effect July 1, 2006. At that time you will be responsible for enforcing the 2006 IECC.
